McDonald’s ‘Made the Games’

When: July 2012.

Where: D6 and Transvision screens, stations across London.

Why: To build awareness and drive consumer engagement with the: “Everyone Makes the Games” positioning.

How: McDonald’s unveiled its Outdoor campaign at the major ‘Gateway’ hubs for the Games: Euston Station, St. Pancras International Station, Stratford Regional Station, Victoria Station and Waterloo stations, and the Heathrow Express.

McDonald’s also took premium roadside locations including the M4 Tower and the Stratford Sail. The campaign used digital to its full potential running consumer-created content and multiple creatives throughout the Games.
