Crowds gathered around a full-size snooker table at Manchester Piccadilly Station on Thursday 18th April as First TransPennine Express deployed experiential advertising, in a campaign booked with JCDecauxLive.

Highlighting their role as official sponsors of the 2013 World Snooker Championships, an interactive snooker area was created at the station. Commuters were invited to take part in special coaching sessions with the legendary star players John Parrott and Willie Thorne.

Budding snooker champions and complete novices alike were able to play a game with the champions. In addition, commuters were invited to make charity donations to Macmillan and The Paul Hunter Trust in exchange for a photo with the snooker champions.
