For the launch of McCain’s new Ready Baked Jackets, JCDecaux Innovate created a complete sensory experience in bus shelters nationwide. A hidden heating element gently warmed the 3D potato whilst the mouth watering aroma of a slow oven-baked jacket potato is released througout the shelter. The aroma was developed over three months in collaboration with a specialist scent laboratory to accurately match the warming scent of McCain Ready Baked Jackets. In a media first, the shelters also dispense money off coupons, redeemable across across multiple and independant retailers, to make it easier for consumers to trail McCain’s latest product.
