Barclaycard has deployed an experiential advertising campaign tour with JCDecauxLive to promote their free service, Barclaycard Unwind, along with their sponsorship of the Barclaycard Mercury Prize.

Giving people another reason to #smileaday, Barclaycard created a ‘Juke in the Box’ – a larger-than-life jack-in-the-box - that took centre stage in middle of the busy concourses at Waterloo, Kings Cross and Manchester Piccadilly stations.

Commuters signed up to Barclaycard Unwind newsletters for the chance to unwind the ‘Juke in the Box’ in the hope for a sign to pop up and a prize to run down the chute. Participants had the chance to win a range of prizes from lanyards to music albums and event tickets.

Barclaycard Unwind is a free service for Barclays’ customers that makes entertainment easier through Fee Free Fridays, event tickets, VIP lounges at venues, competitions and more. The Barclaycard Mercury Prize is an annual music prize that is awarded for the best album for the UK and Ireland.
